First impression. First day, formalities etc.
I was very impressed from the very first day. They make you feel very comfortable and even if you agree that you don’t know a particular law, they would give you time to read it.
They would introduce you to the different partners and different areas of the office, so that you do not get lost. If lucky sometimes you’ll get to share a tea or coffee with your head as to make you feel more relaxed.
I researched and assisted in various arbitration matters, administrative suits, leave and license agreement, providing notices to other parties, making written statements and filing application for the registration of trademark and etc.
Regardless which year you belong to and what all subjects you have been taught to, you’ll be made to study, understand and then research on that topic. Every associate of different legal field will assign the tasks, there is no reserved field for any intern.
Work environment, people
Very comforting and absolutely friendly people. Everybody from the interns head to the HR to the different associates I worked with or I worked for were truly amazing hardworking people who gives you positive energy to work for more hours and get satisfied with your work.
Even if you are not satisfied with the amount of work given by the associates that you work under, you could inform them about it and they will give you the adequate amount of work that you want to do and satisfy yourself and learn more.
Also you will be working for different associates at a time and that keeps you going and work more efficiently.
In lunch time or in some free time you get opportunity to interact with other people at Clasis Law Delhi also who teach you many things regarding career, life, etc in a casual way.
If you are a lazy everything is bad, but otherwise nothing would be.
What did you do to chill?
The Clasis Law office is in front of CP so you can get good shopping, food and as its the heart of the city you need to worry about chilling just get time and leave the building.
Otherwise you can visit the terrace of the building and enjoy the amazing view of whole Delhi.
Anything else you’d like to tell; Biggest lessons
Bring the worm of curiosity to learn and keep on asking the associates for work and to teach something.
Only bookish knowledge is not enough in the legal field.
Never depend on your college to avail the opportunities and teach you everything in a perfect manner (at least in my case).
