The UILS Law Review, the flagship law review of the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh is now inviting submissions to RUILS (Vol. 3) 2013.
It is a student-edited, peer reviewed annual journal and has previously featured texts spanning across the veritable horizons of law and legal studies.
The theme for this edition is “Contemporary Legal Issues”.
The detailed rules and guidelines for submissions are enclosed herewith.
The last date for submission of entries is 22nd March, 2014 latest by 22.59pm IST.
Format and Citation: All submissions must be in Times New Roman 12, single-spaced. All footnotes should be in Times New Roman 10 single-spaced and should conform to the Harvard Blue Book 19th Edition Citation Guidelines. All entries should be submitted in MS Word 2007 or in .doc or .docx formats along with a PDF file of the same.
Margins: Left 1.5 Inch and Right 1 Inch, Top 1 Inch and Bottom 1 Inch.
Abstract and Word-limit: All submissions must be accompanied with an abstract of not more than 300-350 words and full paper being about 3000-5000 words. All submissions must be inclusive of footnotes. Any manuscript with substantial increase in the word limit will be rejected.
Co-authorship: Co-authorship up to 2 authors is permitted.
Copyright and Originality: The Journal shall retain the copyright arising out of any publications of the submissions.
The author(s) bear sole responsibility for the accuracy of facts, opinions or views stated in the Manuscript. In case of plagiarism, the Manuscript shall be subjected to rejection. The decision of the Editorial Board in this regard will be final and irrevocable.
Cover Letter: The manuscript should be accompanied with a covering letter specifying the author’s name, designation, institute, contact number and e-mail address for future reference.
