First published on 3rd November, 2015.

The Madhya Pradesh State Biodiversity Board in collaboration with the Cell for Awareness and Research in Environmental Law Studies, National Law Institute University Bhopal, is delighted to conduct their first Biodiversity Seminar, BioSanctum 2016, inviting new and innovative legal perspectives on the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 & ABS Regulations, 2014.

About

The focus of the seminar is the much litigated Biodiversity Act and Rules especially in light of the 2014 guidelines.

The unsettled interpretation on several legislative aspects demands a legal inquiry that would pave way for a uniform understanding and application of these provisions.

The deliberations at the Seminar will prove fruitful for all participants and delegates with eminent jurists and experts in the field of environmental law, specifically biodiversity conservation, addressing the audience.
