Amity Law School, Delhi is the first college in Delhi NCR to introduce the B.A LLB (Hons.) course and it is this tradition of reaching new heights that is channeled by its enthusiastic bunch of quizzers.
The Amity Law School Quiz Society represents the rich vein of quizzing culture that reverberates throughout its members.
This is best reflected by the many successes of its students in quizzing competitions across colleges, all over India including St. Stephen’s, NLU Jodhpur, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce and Gargi College, among others.
‘TRIVIAL PURSUIT’ is the flagship quiz of Amity Law School, Delhi and is commendably organized by the members of the ALSD Quiz Society. In its second edition in 2015, the quiz promises to be bigger, better and more challenging than ever with cash prizes worth Rs 10,000 on offer.
The quiz shall primarily comprise of two rounds of competition. The first, a preliminary round, will be a written round comprising of thirty questions. It will be on the basis of the highest scores achieved in this preliminary round that six finalists to the next round will be chosen. Asterisk mark questions (*) will be used to determine any tie in the preliminary rounds. There shall be no negative marking.
The final round will be a continuing set of 36 questions which shall cover topics such as Politics, Sports, Entertainment, and Literature etc. Each correct answer shall have a total of ten points.
Any negative marking for an incorrect answer shall be announced beforehand at the beginning of the quiz. It will be at the conclusion of all the rounds that the cumulative total of every team will be calculated to announce the winners of the quiz.
And yes, the decision of the Quiz-Master shall remain final and binding.
